This request form is needed to ensure that we have all necessary personal contact information for the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games.  Our goal is also to ensure you are placed according to your interest/s, as well as our needs.   Please fill out the form completely in order to be recognized as a volunteer for our event on January 16 – 17. Please keep in mind that all requests are subject to approval by the volunteer coordinator.  Failure to submit forms by the cut-off date may result in you missing out on availability, or a preferred duty.

• Scan or collect paper tickets Put wristbands on patrons
• Sell programs if asked 
• Direct foot traffic

  Expectations:   Be present for the entire shift.   Limit use of personal cell phone when on duty.  Be friendly.   Ask lead adult if you don’t know.  

• Manage an activity station
• Assist with arts and crafts 

  Expectations:   Physical activity is required with bending and retrieving items.  Limit use of personal cell phone when on duty.  Be present for the entire shift.  Be friendly and interact with children.  Work with other volunteers to create fun atmosphere.

• Greet people coming in to view tributes to diseased
• Explain Chip’s Grant Fund
• Assist people taking photos
• Direct footpath to tea room

  Expectations:   Be present for the entire shift.   Limit use of personal cell phone when on duty.  Be friendly.   Ask if you don’t know.  

• Check in volunteers outside the gate
• Use a walkie talkie 
• Put wristbands on 
• Assist with Will Call if asked
  Expectations:    Limit use of personal cell phone when on duty. Be present for the entire shift.
  Call Cathy on the walkie talkie if a person is not on the list. Be friendly and thank volunteers for coming.
  
  

• Run errands throughout the park with/without golf car
• Fill in where there is a need in any of the areas
• Assist with trash duty

  Expectations:  Be present for the entire shift.  Limit use of personal cell phone when on duty.  Be friendly.  Ask Cathy if you don’t know.
